STATISTICAL REFERENCES
A ranking source must be provided and the date through which that ranking is current. For example, if your dog is the #4 Ranked Ridgeback (all-breed only) according to the AKC statistics through February 28, 2006, you might word it as The Number Four Ridgeback (all-breed). AKC - 2/28/06 or #4 All-Breed Ridgeback as of February 28, 2006 (AKC). If you are unsure how to word this, please email us and we can help you.
TITLE REFERENCES
While we all get excited by winning Best Puppy Placements or Regional wins, the titles that some use are not factual titles and can not be acknowledged by The Ridgeback Register. For Example: BISS is reserved for Best in National Specialty Winners. If you have won Best of Breed (or Best in Specialty) at a Regional you will need to spell it out to read Best in Regional Specialty Winning. If you have won a Best Puppy in Show or Best Veteran in Show, this cannot be abbreviated as BPIS or BVIS. They two will need to be spelled out. While it might seem to be too much information to spell out and take up too much room, we wish for you to understand that is merely to help the readers know exactly what your dog won. If you are unsure if a title is accurate, please email us and we can help you.
